It is used to connect via VPN (secure connection) with the DMV database.
VPN is a virtual private network. When you activate a VPN, a sort of tunnel is created through the internet where data travels in protected mode.

The following credentials are mandatory (VPN and MCTC):
- VPN those that are used in the Cisco VPN program on Windows computers.
For Municipalities (Local Police) username begins like this: COM.xxxxxxxxxxxx.
For Carabinieri, State Police and other Police Forces, VPN credentials are not provided. Therefore it is necessary to try to request them from the Interforce CED of the Ministry.
- MCTC (patmot or infomot) those to also connect to the Motorist Portal (InfoWeb) to carry out the searches.
